There are a number of things you can do to improve your video, some of which are described elsewhere in this chapter. In addition to the principles that underlie effective video production, we offer in this section some ideas and suggestions gleaned from our own experience and from a variety of other sources.

  • Avoid using movies if you can
  • Use an unusual white balance
  • Make video look softer

  • Add copyright information to your movies
  • Use chroma key
  • Use excellent source video
  • Focus your system
  • Stabilize your video
  • Calibrate your speed
  • Capture and compress in different steps
  • Start big, then reduce
  • Make an archive copy of your video
  • Label the video clearly

You can just keep clicking the "next page" button to see them all, or use the sub-menu at the bottom of the page to see selected ones.
